In the board industry, stability, flatness, and environmental friendliness determine a product's market competitiveness. To this end, we have established a comprehensive quality control system, from raw material selection to finished product delivery, to ensure that every board can withstand intensive use and the stringent demands of end customers.

 

Raw Material Grade Screening: Quality Control at the Source

We only purchase Grade A eucalyptus, poplar, or pine lumber. Suppliers are required to provide FSC certification and moisture content testing reports. Incoming lumber undergoes moisture content testing (8%-12%), visual inspection, and cross-section evaluation. Unqualified lumber is rejected to prevent subsequent warping or cracking due to material instability.

 

Traceable Glue Ratio and Hot Press Parameters

The water resistance, strength, and environmental performance of board materials are highly dependent on the glue. We use low-formaldehyde (E0/E1 grade) adhesives, with automated equipment controlling the addition ratio to within ±1%. Hot pressing process parameters (temperature, time, and pressure) are recorded and archived for each batch to facilitate traceability and process optimization, ensuring that bonding strength and formaldehyde emissions remain within standard limits.

 

Standardized Layer and Core Arrangement and Jointing Process

The structural stability of plywood is directly related to the core arrangement. We have established standards for staggered core joints to avoid stress concentration and localized dents in the panels. The staggered lamination process ensures consistent strength in all directions, improving performance under shear, bending, and impact.

 

Full-Process Dimensional and Appearance Inspection

Each batch of products must pass the following key testing criteria before shipment:

Thickness Tolerance (±0.3mm)

Dimensional Deviation (<±1.0mm)

Surface Flatness (Flatness Error <1mm/2m)

Inspection for visual defects such as debonding, voids, dead knots, and black spots.

Test results are documented and reported to ensure consistency in appearance and structural quality.

 

Formaldehyde Emission and Weathering Performance Monitoring

All panels are regularly tested for formaldehyde emissions at a third-party laboratory to ensure compliance with various market standards, such as E0, E1, CARB P2, or JAS. Panels intended for outdoor use (such as film-faced plywood and WPC wallboard) undergo additional moisture resistance, corrosion resistance, and UV aging testing to simulate the extreme conditions of the intended use environment.
